Dan Zohar and the Zohar Law Firm have been actively involved in many causes outside of the courtroom. These include:

Shane's Inspiration
Shane’s is a non-profit organization established to design and build universally-accessible playgrounds throughout the country for children with disabilities. Dan Zohar has been involved in Shane’s, serving on its Corporate Advisory Board. He has also been a title sponsor of the annual Walk-Fun-Roll fundraising event, working along with celebrities such as Dakota Fanning (pictured above), who was the event’s Grand Marshall.

Violence Intervention Program at LAC+USC Medical Center
The Zohar Law Firm is a regular supporter of the VIP. Dan Zohar has also personally worked with the VIP founder, Dr. Astrid Heppenstall Heger, and the fine VIP staff in developing and pursuing claims on behalf of a teenage foster child who was the victim of a sexual assault while living at a Los Angeles County juvenile facility. The sexual assault was initially identified when the child was brought to the VIP. Mr. Zohar then successfully pursued civil claims on the girl’s behalf.

Justin Don Stacy Memorial Christmas Foundation
Dan Zohar and his wife, Meredith, have spent nearly every holiday season in the Appalachian mountains of Southwest Virginia volunteering for this cause. The program has provided clothing and toys for thousands of underprivileged children throughout the region, considered to be one of the most economically disadvantaged areas in the country.
